Goldilocks On Trial by Ed Monk
In this kooky spoof of TV courtroom dramas that’s perfect for younger actors and audiences, Amanda Marie Locks, known as Goldilocks or even “Goldie,” is on trial for breaking and entering and destruction of private property. A wide cast of fairytale characters serve as witnesses for the prosecuting and defense attorneys. To hear the Bare family tell it, Goldie should be found guilty. But an unscrupulous judge and a slew of unreliable witnesses — including a blind witch, a forgetful old woman who lives in a shoe, a dwarf with a nasty disposition, a skittish tuffet-tester, and a country boy so dumb he’d trade beans for a cow — make it hard to build a case against the gal with the golden hair.

Campers age 6-12 will spend the week focusing on developing their acting techniques with theatre games, improv, and producing a short play which will be performed for their families Friday at 3:30pm.

These workshops are $170 for each week with a 10% discount for siblings. To use your ACE funds, email us: click here

Please bring a packed lunch. CTW provides snacks, but if you want to send your own snacks with your child, that’s fine.
Students may bring their favorite decompression activity–books, craft, etc–for their free time, which is in the afternoon.
Plan to join us for a short performance of Goldilocks on Trial at 3:30 pm on Friday!
