What activities occur in the Day Camps?
Campers start the day together, for daily announcements and a group game. Then they split into their age groups and go to different rooms for theatre activities. Each day contains improvisation, theatre games, crafts, musical theatre OR technical theatre, and devising. The younger ages also have a puppetry section. We provide two snack breaks during the day as well as a lunch break. The day concludes with a group activity and closing announcements.
Is there a performance?
There’s no performance for the Day Camps, we try to keep these weeks focused on creativity and exploration. The Musical Theatre Camps will have a short presentation of one of the songs and dances they learned during the week.
I want to enroll a few of my children. Is there a way I can group them together or make sure they are kept apart?
We can try to put your children together if they are relatively close in age or separate them if you think they will have a better experience in different groups. Our lunch and snack breaks also group different ages together, so your kids can check in together throughout the day. Also make sure you have that 10% off sibling discount applied to your order!
What are the snack/lunch expectations?
Campers must bring a packed lunch. Please send it with them in the morning. Unfortunately we are not able to accommodate parents picking up their camper for lunch. We can store a limited amount of lunches in our refrigerator.
We will provide two snacks during camp: one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Our snacks are usually a cracker (like goldfish), cookie, fruit snacks, or fresh fruit. You are also welcome to send your own snacks with your camper. We keep water on site for your camper to have whenever needed, but encourage them to bring a water bottle for fewer interruptions.
What’s the dress code?
We don’t require any special clothing beyond wearing comfortable clothes that do not portray anything profane or inappropriate. Our crafts can get messy, though!
