Children’s Theatre Workshop (CTW), is pleased to start its 2015-2016 season with the Players Company’s production of “Stories Under the Big Top” by Lorraine Thompson.
“Stories Under the Big Top” presents well-known tales such as “The Bremen Town Musicians” and “The Billy Goats Gruff,” while including all the sequins and glitter of the circus.
The Players Company, CTW’s 5-8 year old group, take the stage as dogs, cats, magical fish, monkeys, and more. CTW is creating an immersive circus experience for family audiences, with carnival games in the lobby and featuring special performances from the students of Bird’s Eye View Circus (www.birdseyeviewcircus.com)
Tickets for Stories Under the Big Top are $5 for students/seniors and $7 for general admission and can be purchased online at www.ctwtoledo.org or at the door.
The production will occur October 31 and November 1, 2015. Both performances are at 2:00 pm and will take place in Lois Nelson Theatre in the Collingwood Arts Center, located at 2413 Collingwood Blvd, Toledo, OH 43620.
