Frequently Asked Questions About Summer Programs

What kind of role will my child receive in the musicals?
We only accept as many students as we have available roles. We keep the musicals small so each student has a chance to shine onstage! The first few days of the summer musicals are purely instructional; students will learn about the show, practice auditions, and get to know about the process. They will audition and each enrolled child will be assigned a role.

We’re going on vacation at some point during rehearsals. Does that mean we shouldn’t sign up?
It’s pretty common for campers to miss rehearsals occasionally for vacation. Just tell us in advance which rehearsals you can’t attend so we can plan accordingly. However, if you know you’ll miss 2 weeks or more of rehearsals, we recomend choosing a different program so your camper doesn’t struggle to learn all their songs and dances.

What are the performances like?
Our summer musicals are just like our school-year plays. They are fully-mounted productions with sets, costumes, and performances for a public audience.

My camper requires accomodations. What do I need to do to arrange this?
We would be happy to help! Anything from a “one on one” partner to ASL interpreter to shortened camp days, we will work with you to make sure your camper has what they need to have a successful and fun experience! Just send us an email and we will get in touch to help! We do ask that accessibility arrangements be made two weeks in advance so we have adequate time to prepare.
