Medicaid

Children’s Theatre Workshop aims to be accessible to every young person interested in the creative outlet the stage can provide.

Thanks to a partnership with First Focus, a nonprofit behavioral health organization, Children’s Theatre Workshop can process Medicaid for all ages in lieu of tuition.

How can theatre programs qualify? Thanks to a growing movement in the wellness field called “social prescribing,” wellness providers like First Focus can connect children to programs like CTW.

Because our work is inherently connected to developing social-emotional intelligence, empathy, problem-solving, working well in group settings, and creative thinking—skills and experiences connected to childhood wellness—families can use their Medicaid to support their child’s wellness!

How do I use my Medicaid to enroll? Contact CTW through this form, which will tell us your child’s name and age, what program(s) you want to enroll in, and the email and phone number on file with Medicaid. We will help you enroll and send your information to First Focus, who will process the Medicaid.

The intake process will take a couple weeks. So don’t panic if you don’t hear back immediately. If your student wishes to enroll in a program starting within a week, we can register them now as you go through the process.
