Les Examables (Apr 2019)

Children’s Theatre Workshop’s Teen Company presents
Les Examables
By Don Zolidis
Tired of too much standardized testing in her high school, high achiever Anna Ullman stages a protest and finds herself crowned as the new principal. But ultimate power comes with its own problems (especially after death threats from the all-powerful State Board of Education), and soon Anna finds herself descending into madness and imposing even more standardized testing. Its up to her former best friend, Lola, to lead a rebellion to bring down this new tyrant. Soon Lola is manning the barricades and singing triumphantly awesome songs in this insane satire based on the mega-musical Les Misérables. Produced by special arrangement with YouthPLAYS (www.youthplays.com)
