Donate to Children's Theatre Workshop

According to the 2018 Ohio Arts Education Data Project, only 11 out of 131 schools in Lucas County offer theatre education programs–and absolutely none in TPS elementary schools. By contrast, CTW teaches theatre education to more than 475 students every year; 48% of those students are Toledo residents.

Theatre education is more than putting on a play. It’s practicing skills like public speaking, leadership, service, critical thinking, literacy, empathy. And it’s more than skills. It’s the joy of a theatre family.

Tuition for theatre education lessons and productions at CTW is $150; less than half of what it costs to put on programs. Programs for TPS students are completely free; we rely upon grants and donations to cover the costs of teachers and supplies. We also provide up to $4,200 in scholarships each year.
